Damien Hirst's $38 Million London Museum

Damien Hirst's £25 million ($38 million) London museum is opening its doors to the public. Newport Street Gallery is a 37,000 square feet temple that Hirst has dedicated to his 3,000-work art collection, which has the rather YBA-esque name of Murderme.

Most Popular Artist in the World

The Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama has been crowned as the most popular artist in the world according to a survey of museum attendance in 2014, the Guardian reports.

Besides rejoicing in the marvelous fact that the biggest artist in the world is, in fact, a woman, Kusama's super powers do not come as a surprise, as the Japanese artist has been long known for drawing large masses to her brilliant exhibitions.
