quidco.com is one of the ‘big two’ cashback sites in the UK. Like Topcashback, it pays you cutback into an online account, when you click through from their site to shop at providers online.
They have around 4,200 retailers so it is entirely possible that there will be one of them you might want to use. Once you click through to a retailer Quidco tracks your purchase and gives you the commission they earn for getting you, the customer, to the retailer’s site. Online retailers can pay large ‘introduction fees’ for new customers (insurance and telecoms for example), or smaller percentages (1.5% - 4%) for buying less expensive items. Once you have enough in your Quidco account you can ask for it to be paid out. Over 4 million people in the UK appear to be taking advantage of their service.
So - how do they make money if they give you their commission? They operate a two tier membership system. The basic membership is free and funded by sponsored advertising. There is also a Premium account where you pay them £5.00 from your earned cutback and receive extra features in return.
Lets face it - you are going to buy something online in the next few weeks so why not get cashback on it at the same time. Sign up is free.
