If someone said they would give you money simply for shopping online.....
Topcashback does that buy giving you cash back for items you order from a wide range of online merchants.
During 2013 the company had one of the most irritating TV advertising campaigns ever, which actively stopped us from having anything to do with them until a friend, who’s opinion we trust, recommended the site. They had a rebrand in May 2015 so perhaps that is all left behind!
We signed up for free and used them to book some airport parking. Now, we did our homework - checked out lots of online parking offers first. Found the one we wanted then had a look on Topcashback to see if they had a link to the people we wanted to order from. They did and, at the time also had a special offer of extra cashback, so we clicked through and earned around £19.00!! Not bad for a couple of clicks.
Since then we have looked for insurance quotes and received a few pennies just for looking, reserved some items at B&Q for an exhibition we were involved with and earned a couple of quid. All in all, it starts to stack up.
Our friend, who recommended us, booked their AA insurance through the site and earned around £40.00.
Much of the cashback is small, but there are some massive ones particulalry media, mobile and insurance packages. That is when it starts being interesting - and can reduce the cost of the item you are buying significantly.
Obviously - don’t purchase anything JUST for the cashback but, if you are about to buy something anyway, give them a try. It is almost 'free money'.
